OUR HISTORY
Concentric Corporation was founded by Marc Klecka on October 1, 1990.  The initial company objective was to sell and service the Citizen CNC Swiss-Type Turning Center and peripheral support equipment.  Prior to the formation of Concentric, Marc had spent the previous 6 years working closely with the Citizen product in both New England and Ohio. 

Recognizing the long-term value the product offered the machining community, Marc saw the opportunity to utilize his sales experience and achieve his life-long dream – to become a small business owner.   At its inception, the company sold the Citizen product in just northern Ohio.  However, quick success in this market dictated the expansion into the southern Ohio region.  Unsurpassed product performance and support have led Concentric to finish in the top 5 sales positions domestically for Citizen in 16 of the company's 19 years in existence, including multiple #1 finishes. 

During 2007, Concentric added the versatile Miyano mill/drill multi-turret and multi-spindle product to its powerful Citizen line-up.  Citizen Holdings/Japan purchased a major equity interest in Miyano Machinery/Japan to facilitate this partnership.  Concentric looks forward to representing this dynamic new product with the same vigor and vitality that have led to its Citizen sales and customer support achievements.

While much has changed since Concentric’s humble beginnings, fundamentally the company remains the same at its core. Crucial to Concentric's continued success have been superior sales and service teams.  They have not only mirrored the vision of the the company's founder to make Concentric' s customers preeminent, globally competitive manufacturers, but have built upon it. Without their dedication and hard work, Concentric Corporation’s success would not have been possible.
